Steinway D Ebony (SOLD-PC)
SOLD! This Steinway D Ebony Satin concert grand (built in 1989 in the New York factory) has been restored to virtually its original condition. A new pinblock and strings and new hammers, shanks and underlevers are all genuine Steinway & Sons from the factory.
The piano was purchased new from our Jordan Kitt's Music institutional department for the rehearsal room at Bolling Air Force Base in the DC area. It has been housed in that same location since then and was used only moderately as a rehearsal piano. The instrument has been well maintained by our DC area technician since the time of purchase.
Technically, the piano action has gone through the normal regulation process for it's age by our area Steinway-trained technicians. The cabinet has been refinished to its original ebony lustre and a new set of key tops make for a perfect finishing touch.
The warranty is 5 years parts and labor - the same as a new Steinway. The piano is now available for audition and purchase, and comes with the matching artist bench and the first tuning free.
