Steinway M Walnut (SOLD)
SOLD! This New York Steinway M Walnut Satin 5'7" baby grand just arrived in the DC market. It is in a beautifully warm wood finish case, which is unique with so many black polish finish pianos being offerred. It has the very full, rich and mellow sound typical of Steinway & Sons pianos.
The instrument was recently traded in for a new Steinway grand in a more reddish stained mahogany finish that more closely fit the decor of the buyer.
The model M is Steinway's best selling baby grand model and this one is relatively new, having been manufactured in 1994. Since it is so new, all parts are original, authentic Steinway parts. The cabinet is in very nice condition and requires no refinishing.
This is also a great value, with a new price around $83K. The piano includes a matching bench, the first in-home tuning and the same warranty as new - 5 years parts and labor.
Compare to a new Yamaha GC2 5'8" baby grand in a lower price point.
