This is a 48" tall professional upright manufactured by Kawai, one of the leading Japanese manufacturers of fine pianos. This particular example is in very good condition and was obviously very well maintained. 

Since it is a tall piano with large soundboard and long strings, it has the tone and touch similar to a baby grand, without taking as much space. The price is also very reasonable compared to grand pianos and even equivalent uprights.

This is NOT a gray market piano (ones that are not intended for sale or use in the US). It is an instrument that was originally manufactured for international distribution, was purchased in the US and is climatized for this country.

The piano comes with a warranty, bench and the first tuning in the home included free.
