Yamaha U1 Transacoustic (SOLD)
SOLD! The Yamaha U1 Transacoustic professional upright is three pianos in one. It is an acoustic 48" tall upright - one of the best models in Yamaha's line up for the last 5 decades.
It is a silent piano that can be played with headphones using digitally sampled sound and a unique hammer stop rail so that the acoustic sound is not heard, but without affecting the key action.
It is a fully functional digital piano with the digital sound (whether piano, strings, organ, harpsichord, etc.) emanating from the piano's actual solid spruce soundboard, not small speakers like in most digitals.
This particular one was recently traded for a larger grand piano model. It was originally purchased from Jordan Kitt's Music in 2014 and is in new condition. Included are the matching bench and a warranty. Compares perfectly with a new Yamaha U1 Transacoustic or with the slightly less expensive Yamaha U1 Silent.
