This Sohmer 45 Walnut Satin studio upright piano is a fine example of beautiful craftsmanship in a gorgeous and elegant walnut satin case. It is the perfect piano for someone looking for a high-end instrument in the used market, but in a more reasonable price range.
Measuring 45" in height, this piano also has a beautiful tone and a responsive action. Jordan Kitt's was a Sohmer dealer for many years, including during the time this piano was made. We are very familiar with the brand and the quality.
The piano was recently traded on a new Yamaha GC1M Silent Grand and includes a matching bench, warranty and the first tuning in the home free.
The Sohmer piano company - originally from East Rochester, NY - crafted one of the finest hand-built pianos in the industry. They were considered in the same quality category as Mason & Hamlin and Steinway, also with a history going back to the 1850's.
