SOLD! This Steinway S Ebony Satin that just recently came into inventory has just been completely refurbished and is available for audition in our Rockville Showroom grand piano salon.
New action components are authentic NY Steinway parts. The existing soundboard was replaced with a Bolduc premium soundboard, manufactured in Canada by the eponomous maker of world renowned parts for high-end pianos. The new pinblock is also from Bolduc, with new strings from Mapes USA, the long time string supplier to the Steinway factory in New York. The cabinet and plate were both beautifully restored to a gorgeous new satin lustre finish.
The model S is Steinway's smallest size baby grand and has always been popular in homes or studios with space constraints.
The instrument includes full tuning, regulation and prep prior to delivery, the matching original/refinished bench, and a follow up tuning in the home for free. It also comes complete with a 5 year parts & labor warranty for total peace of mind - same as new.
Also included is a 15-year full-trade up agreement to a future high-end Yamaha or Bösendorfer grand purchase.
As an alternative, also consider a brand new Yamaha Conservatory Series grand in a similar price range, but brand new with a 10 year manufacturer's warranty.
