Come join us during this International Day of Music for a celebration featuring artists such as Eli Zarov (Master’s Student at the Mannes School of Music), Vicki Malloy (Master’s Degree in Piano Pedagogy from George Mason), Kenny Pham (BA Music Education, George Mason), and Olivia Sudweeks (BA – Flute, George Mason).
They will take us on a virtual trip from Vienna, VA to Vienna, Austria with stops in Saxony, Germany and Kakagewa, Japan while exploring the unique musical traits of some of the world’s finest pianos.
It’s a unique and fascinating way to discover the differences and similarities of pianos with such different international heritage, all in one concert for you to compare in sequence.
Featured pianos will include the Bösendorfer 225 & 214VC, the Bechstein A190 & Concert B, and the Yamaha S6X.
