The Cristofori V465 studio upright is 46 ½” tall and is made for both homes and schools. This model has nearly the same soundboard size and string length of a 48” professional upright, but at a slightly lower price point.
The V465 model is designed for those on a budget that still desire the sound of a tall upright piano. It is positioned directly between the 45” and 48” sizes.
Like its smaller sibling, all the quality features remain, but in a more substantial cabinet. This case design allows for an even larger soundboard and longer strings for a bigger, richer tone.
Bartolomeo Cristofori, the Italian instrument maker, designed and built the first “pianoforte” in the year 1700. Named after him, the Cristofori brand was introduced in 2004. Cristofori pianos are manufactured by the largest, most state-of-the-art piano factory in the world, with nearly 70 years of history in piano manufacturing and design.
