This Boston GP163 Ebony Polish 5’4″ baby grand piano is in beautiful condition and is encased in a classic and elegant ebony polish finish. It is part of Steinway’s “Boston Edition II” series, an upgrade from the original Boston GP163 nearly 30 years ago.
With it’s wide tail design, it has longer strings and a larger soundboard than other 5 1/2 foot baby grands, and thus a bigger sound and better action.
Designed by Steinway & Sons, this Boston GP163 piano is manufactured in Japan by Kawai, one of the top piano builders. So it has design and manufacturing influences from both companies.
