Elena Popova is a Maryland-based composer and pianist dedicated to exploring innovative
musical forms, sonic colors, and deep emotional landscapes. Her work aims to immerse
listeners in multi-faceted sensory experiences, offering spiritual uplift, consolation, and
vibrant energy. She is currently pursuing her Master of Fine Arts in Music Composition at the
Vermont College of Fine Arts (Class of 2027).

As an active performer of her own repertoire, Elena has graced prestigious stages across the
United States and internationally. Her notable appearances include solo and participant
recitals at the Kennedy Center (Millennium Stage, Family Theater, The REACH), the
Mansion at Strathmore, the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center, and the Catholic
University of America. Beyond classical venues, her music has been featured at Stages Music
Arts in Baltimore, Hunger Mountain Live in California, and during a 2026 concert series in
Baku, Azerbaijan, showcasing her works for ensemble, voice, and solo piano.
