Jordan Kitt’s Music is proud to present a special duo recital in the Fairfax Bösendorfer Salon, featuring internationally acclaimed pianists and recording artists Dr. Nikita Fitenko and Dr. Katerina Zaitseva.

Nikita Fitenko, D.M.A., is an International Yamaha Artist and Professor of Piano at the Rome School of Music, Drama, and Art (Catholic University of America). He performs extensively throughout the United States as well as in Europe, South Korea, and China.

Katerina Zaitseva, D.M.A., is on the piano faculty at Levine Music as well as teaching and coaching select students in her private studio in Rockville, MD. She regularly performs solo recitals and chamber music, as well as duo-performances with Dr. Fitenko. They have recorded extensively, both solo performances and duo-piano works.

The program will feature works by Prokofiev, Shostakovich, Gershwin, and Percy Grainger. This will be a sneak preview of the upcoming Washington International Piano Festival (WIPF), which runs July 27 through August 4, 2024. Most WIPF performances, lectures and master classes will take place at the Rome School of Music, Drama, and Art’s Ward Recital Hall (on the campus of The Catholic University of America).
