Come join us during this international day of music celebration as we as we travel (virtually) from Vienna, VA to Vienna, Austria with stops in Saxony, Germany and Kakagewa, Japan to explore the world’s finest pianos…
It’s a unique and fascinating way to discover the differences and similarities of pianos with such different international heritage, all in one concert for you compare in sequence.
Artists will be Eli Zarov (Master’s Student at the Mannes School of Music), Vicki Malloy (Master’s Degree in Piano Pedagogy from George Mason), Kenny Pham (BA Music Education, George Mason), Olivia Sudweeks (BA – Flute, George Mason), and Ai Soto (Master’s Piano Performance, Indiana University).
The featured pianos will be the Bösendorfer 225 & 214VC, the Bechstein A190 & Concert B, and the Yamaha S6X.
