Yamaha makes 3 series in their grand piano lineup before you get into the very expensive hand-crafted pianos. The GB series, the GC series and the CX series.
The GC series is their mid line group of pianos coming in a 5'3" and 5'8" size. This piano sounds great, has a nice even touch across the scale and is in virtually new condition. As a GC1M (not its precursor the GC1), it is also the latest scale design, introduced in 2009 when this piano was built in the factory in Japan.
