Kawai KG2C Grand Piano – Used $11,999

Kawai KG2C Grand Piano – Used $11,999

Kawai KG2C Grand Piano

Description

This Kawai KG2C Ebony Polish grand piano is absolutely gorgeous, inside and out! It will go through the usual technical and cabinet inspection that all our Certified Pre-Owned pianos go through prior to being available for sale.

The instrument measures 5’10” in size, so is made to fit most spaces, but with a bigger soundboard and longer strings for better tone. This particular one is in the ebony polish finish, the most popular finish in grand pianos that looks elegant in any setting. The action, due to Kawai’s patented “Ultra Responsive Action” design, is extremely responsive. The solid spruce soundboard gives it a big full sound.

The KG series pianos (manufactured up through the 1990’s) are equivalent to the current GX-series Kawai grands, the 5’10” model currently badged as the GX2BLK. This one is much lower in price though, due to it being used. The KG2 was Kawai’s highest quality production piano at the time, not the entry level (which were known as the GE-series pianos – currently GL-series).

The piano comes with a 5-year parts & labor warranty, bench and the first tuning in the home for free. Also included is a 10-year full trade agreement to a new Steinway grand purchase in the future.

Also consider as an alternative a new Yamaha C2X Conservatory series 5’8″ grand with a manufacturer’s 10 year parts and labor warranty.
